Make the Media Your Chum.

So, it is critical that you develop a relationship with them. So check out that section, call the newspaper and ask who you would send your release to and in what format they need the info. Just be sure it is interesting, and do not overuse it. Always check to see who to send your info to and what format they need.

Are there trade mags in your business area? If this is the case do up a release on your new business.

You would not purchase an auto if you did not think it might get you home.

And you would not purchase it from a dealer you presumed was stealing you blind on the price and may not stand behind it if the engine slipped out as you drove it off the lot.

Pick up the telephone and call your clients to ask what they believed of your service, what they liked about it and how it was useful. If you run ads, include testimonials in them.

When you give something to folk, with no regard for the price tag, they are much more likely to tr! ust you and return the favor by purchasing something from you. Use an PDF, article, workshop or free demonstration to build trust. You will not need to - your byline, words ( and perhaps even image ) will do that.
